02 · The pitch
Be the best smoke shop
Our answer: people don't know what you carry until they walk in. Put your inventory online and they stop shopping around, and you can run your own programs and promotions. If you've invested in the business, keep investing. Be the best, friendliest and safest smoke shop around.
03 · Three concepts
Built before the call
When we called the owner, we'd already built him three sites. We do that for some clients. Of the three, they picked the most visual one: less catalogue, more interactive store, still simple to match the package.
04 · Build
From static site to Shopify
It started as a static Next.js site. Then he wanted to sell online, so the job grew from our basic package into e-commerce. We turned the chosen design into their own Shopify theme. Getting the Liquid code right took a week or two, and we're still upgrading pages.
05 · Today
A lifestyle store, at their pace
We've also helped Meta grow into a lifestyle store, carrying high-value brands on consignment: accessories, jewelry, power tools, games, electronics and more. They chose to learn and run much of it themselves. It's slower than we'd like for them, but they're working out every detail of a profitable store.
